Default Brake running light issue

Have LED brake lights on 2011 jk. The brake lights work, but the passenger rear running light is out. I noticed that my trailer pin connector in which is hooked up to that light had been resting against the muffler and burned partially through the coating of the green wire. Do y’all think that caused the issue? What’s my best course of action here?

thanks!

Unplug your trailer wiring from behind the driver's trailtail light and then reevaluate your situation. That will quickly tell you if the muffler is an issue. There's a replacement harness for trailer wiring on eBay now starting at $14.50 or BIN for something like $21.

Came out this morning and unplugged the harness. Still nothing. Brake light and blinker work, but not running light.
