Yeah, I have been hounding him constantly to make me a roof. ha ha ha! I would love to have a modular safari roof with interchangeable hard and soft sides and sky lights!

Kojack. I'm glad that you like his design.. but we've changed our outlook on his idea and will be heading in a different direction.

I don't know what JeepersDigest is referring to. He has not been and is not involved with the JK Safari Cab project in any way.

I love them, but full disclosure: I designed them, so of course I'd love them .

More full disclosure: I am not an employee of the company that's manufacturing these products, nor am I an employee of any of the companies that sell them. I'm just a Jeep hobbyist who designs things like this as part of my hobby and sometimes companies like what I design so they bring them to market.

ooOoO~ Have you any pics of this spare tire carrier? Will it get rid of the lame bump stops? They never seem to align nicely. Curious to see what your solution is.
nice HD hinge btw.

This morning I installed the prototype HD spare carrier and tailgate reinforcement. This is only a stock 32" spare, there's lots of room for something larger. The height of the spare and of the third brake light are adjustable, these aren't the highest positions.
