Run the d shaft until you toast it. Just a heads up to put at least $500 ish in the emergency fund to replace it. If you disco and flex that out you will have a problem. Its not the tearing of the boot but putting the d shaft into the tranny pan (At least on 07-11) that can cost you some $$$

Guys, are the 2012s diferent as far as the front drive shaft rubbing with a 3"+ lift. The 07-11s will rub with a stock front d/s and 3"+ (when you droop the axle offroad). May want to look into that. And last, are you auto or stick? Many say 5.13s are too steep for 35s, maybe they are a little for the highway, but around town I think they are perfect (this is what I have---when I get my 37s it will be perfect). This is on my manual 07. Compare the gear charts, but I think you are on the right track if you think you will go 37s later on. Good luck, and you will have a very nice setup when it's all done.
Thanks for the advice. I am really torn with the tire size, but I am also trying to keep drivability. I plan on driving this quite a bit every day at this point and maybe later making it more of a trail rig then a driver. That is why I chose 35's. I have a feeling after having the 35s for awhile I will also get the 37s bug as well.
Also, I am running an auto trans.
Thanks again for the input!

Out of curiosity why don't people just modify the tranny Pan I have an 09 manual right now so this isn't an issue for me and I haven't seen it on the autos. So it might not be possible.

Regarding tire size, when I get my 12 im going straight to a 37, right now I'm tied between procomp and nitto though. Also if your looking for a true 35 you may want to get a 37, a lot of the tires out there are not true to their sizing. But this is an argument I'm starting to brew so I'll stop here. To each his own :p

You did get break lines right? Or do they come with the kit?

You may eventually want to upgrade to extended break lines. Just my 2 cents

I ordered the lift without the external reservoir shocks and I am upgrading them to the fox's.

I have always used fox shocks on our quads and sleds, and just prefer them.

Thanks for all the comments guys!
Will keep you posted on the build, just waiting to hear if the parts are in stock.
