Default Bumper Comments

I want to add a Body Armor Winch Integrated Front Bumper and a Smittybilt XRC Rear Bumper with tire carrier to my newly purchased 09 Wrangler X. Any comments on either item? There's so much stuff out there it can be overwhelming. Thank you.

why not do the body armor rear bumper w/ tire swing?

It comes with the hi-lift jack and jerry cans mounts and is a great price and would match your front.

Could you attach a link to the bumper you're talking about? That does sound really good.

I'm also looking at this winch (Smitty XRC 8 Comp Series Winch).

It's just like everything in life - the best costs money....BUT only you know what you are going to be doing with it. I have a XRC 8, but I don't do any rock climbing here in Florida. I have used it a couple of time to get out of the mud and it's great for that, but as far as winching all day or long periods of time, no. If you just want it for looks, or occasional use the the XRC would probably be fine.

x2 Occasional should be fine.... I just know the Warns are still expensive used cause they outlast the vehicles

BTW. I'm going with the Body Armor Front Bumper(w/skid plate) because it's way nicer than the XRC one. The XRC Rear Bumper with Tire Carrier which, IMO, matches up better to the Body Armor Front than it's own version. The only difference is the square tubing on the rear bumper's Tire Carrier which I like for adding some custom clamp on attachments. I do like the BA tube grill guard on front too. Seems like a good match-up to me. I'm going to get the (Smitty XRC 8 Comp Series Winch) over the warn. Cost vs Use is the main reason.
