Centerforce Clutch
 

I thought I would ask around to see if anyone has any info on installing the Centerforce clutch on a 2010 manual 4 door jk?

I've been working on this exact project for the last week. What are needing to know.

There are also some minimally helpful YouTube videos, mostly from sports car installs.

Tomorrow I should be dropping the tranny and swapping in the new clutch and starting to put everything back together.

I have been working on a step by step write up through out the process. I will need to clean it up when I am done, but am happy to post it up for people to use a reference.

All i can say is if you are taking the time, thanks for considering all of us six speed owners! A big two thumbs up for bad punkin!

From what I have done as far as research on clutches, center force hasn't made anything for 09 and up. However, and I just dealt with these guys, spec clutch. Stage 3+. Nice beefy mfer. guys were great to deal with and built it fast. You can find them on the web, easiest was google specclutch. Direct address is www.specclutch.com. I'll be sure to add to this after the install to let everyone know the feel.

Northridge is selling a Centerforce for the JK. Hope it fits. We will see tomorrow.

Let us know how it works out. I have run centerforce clutches in the past and they are awesome. A huge improvement over stock

Put one in a friends jk after he hydrolocked his motor( another story completely), but after the install at idle and driving up the road you could hear the pressure plate weights rattling until you got higher up in the rpms. I haven't heard from him in over a year, but I dont think he ever got anything resolved with why his was so noisy. You could hear it over the 35" tire buzz.
