Default Cheap power upgrades?

Wondering what you guys do or have done to get better power or fuel economy on the V6 engines that is a decent cost. Did not know how much is out there without having to replace heddars and air intake etc. Just looking for some ideas. Thanks.

The honest answer is sell your jeep and buy a prius for fuel economy or a ford raptor for power. Don't waste money on intakes/exhausts for the JK. The only power gains you can see will come from a supercharger (ripp, AEV, sprintex, edlebrock, magnasun) or a v8 swap.

+1 I wouldn't bother.

I would recommend a tune though. I have a flashpaq, running the 91 tune atm. It didn't make the jeep fast but it gets going a lot easier now. I think its definitely helping rotate my 35s

Stickers, lots of stickers.

My superchips sticker is worth at least 10 hp with the 87 tune.

Remove doors, remove top, strip the interior trim/carpet, remove your spare & remove your back seat. You'll be golden after that.

For true hp gains you'll need forced induction.

To make driving fun again after installing larger tires then you have to regear.

is that true? my JK arrives in a few weeks and the first things I was going to do was get a cold air intake and exhaust upgrade.
