Default check engine light on after lift install???

ok, i just got finished putting a 3.25" lift on my 2 door jk. and after i plug the procal in to program in the tire size my check engine light is on... the one that looks like the transmission. it just stays on. i havent driven it very much since yesterday....

has this happened to anyone else? it drives just fine. i just dont like that light being on.

Check engine comes on any time you unplug something.

Mine came on after we looked for a ignition keyed power source and unplugged the harness for a few minutes .

It will reset after starting the engine a few times if everything is ok (which it probably is)

Did you re-center your steering wheel after the lift?

yes but i need to recenter it again. i am going to get a local shop to check over the install to mainly make sure the angles are correct. i am stressing myself out over them... i will recenter the wheel again after i get it aligned and checked over.

i also plan on figuring out what code is being pulled up so i can narrow it down further.

yeah it comes on for eeeeeverything! I put on a cat back exhaust and it still is on, dealers cant turn it off.

i read in the manual. it is a big deal if it starts blinking. mine just stays on. we will see.
