chips / boosters / programmers
Superchips Flashpaq seems to be the most popular.
Don't expect to see any noticeable HP gains or anything with any programmer on the market.
The main reason I got the Flashpaq over the Flashcal or AEV Procal is to get rid of the throttle lag. Nothing's worse than punching the throttle and nothing happening.

There are likely as many opinions to which one is best as there are chips and/or programmers. The AEV Procal likely has some functions that the Superchips programmer doesn't; same with other brands. Jp Magazine did a feature on several programmers in either 2012 or 2013.
Not all chips can be used with all programmers either - for example, you cannot run the JET stage 1 chip in conjunction with the Banks programmer (I looked this combination up before thinking I could combine them) - nope.
Do you have a Brand X system? - if so, chances are their Brand X programmer was designed in conjunction with it, so it may yield a better net gain than mixing and matching components.
Find one that best fits your wants and needs. Most are designed to adjust the spedo for different sized tires and/or gears, have a few different "flashes" for your Jeep's computer (towing, power, economy) some may require a minimum octane fuel for max performance.

I bought the 3870 Flashpaq, although some of it's settings are automatic. The 87 octane tune worked for me. Plus it changed out those annoying chirps from tps sensors. And for the speedo corrections it worked great. At 60 mph my speedo is dead on from there up.
