What do you mean by "far fetched"?
It's the second time you used it in a response to my posts.

Yep... I'm actually more leaning twords the pump now... Just as an fyi... I changed from the gold napa filter to the mopar and they are IDENTICAL as far as length, width and id/od...

Priced the pump at mopar and its only 79 bucks.... And looks like it bolts to the front of the motor with a gear attached to the front...

I threw this code on a trip cross country this past summer. Went into limp mode for a second under a hard acceleration climb and then the engine one stayed on. Dealership said it was the filter that quick lube place put on. The wrangler filter has two seals and if they're not put on right you get a low pressure reading coming out of the filter. Fwiw.

Where are the two seals? I know of the o ring..but I thought that was it... Also I have read that the spring can come loose and popping off in the filter housing...

I hope the pump fixes it, because...
You say it's stuck on high, yet P06DD is for stuck on low, and you monitored the oil pressure readings as being in the normal ranges.

I'm having a shop do the pump and the diagnoses…was going to do it..but have to remove the turbo kit and I really don't want to do this without the lift… I guess they hooked up a mechanical gauge to it…and that is what they found out… It only calls for 2.5 hours from the dealer so it is not a huge job (the oil pump)… They were sure this is what it is…but if that light kicks back on you can bet I will be throwing a fit…lol

Talk to the guy who does the work and find out if there are any huge pitfalls to watch out for, and how much of a PIA it is to change the pump.
