Default Coil Spacers

I'm installing an LOD Mid-Width Bumper and Warn M8000 winch on my 2011 Rubi. I was told that the front end will tremendously sag due to the wight. I was already planning on installing 3/4" coil spacers to compensate for the original sagging that comes with the Jeep, but now with the new bumper and winch, do I need bigger coil spacers? Or will the 3/4" coil spacers be sufficient?

If you thought you needed 3/4 before you may need more. You will be adding around 150 to 200 lbs with that winch and bumper.

I am getting the LOD shorty stinger bumper and M8000 as well. Northridge suggested I add 1" coil spacers in the front and 1/2" in the back for my LOD rear bumper and tire carrier.

Sounds good; this may help clear the 35s I'm putting on too. Please, let me know how that set up works for you. I'm getting the OR-FAB and OR-FAB tire carrier for the rear. If you can, post pictures once you've done it.

Did they suggest any specific brand of coil spacers?

Now I know I need to add 1" of spacer for each 150 lbs. I add to the rear of my Jeep. It's that simple!
Huh? How does that math work?

If it sagged 1.5" for 225 lbs, it'll sag 1" for 150 lbs.

1 x 1.5 = 1.5
150 x 1.5 = 225

or

1/150 = 1.5/225

Get it?

Basically he came up with 1/2" for every 75 pounds (3x75=225 & 3x0.5=1.5)

If you can afford it I suggest adjustable coli spacers. They allow for ongoing adjustability as you add and modify accessories.

The adjustable spacers come in two models. Dave at Northridge can help!
