Default computer programmer

I've found that you can only use an aftermarket computer programmer to change the tire size in your computer to get your speedo back to reading the correct mph and getting the mpg showing your actual miles per gallon. I was wondering if anyone in the Seattle/Tacoma area had one of these programmers that they own? If so, would you be willing to help a jeeper out and let me use it to change tire size? I'd be willing to rent it from you for this problem I've ran across. These things are expensive. $379 for the cheapest I've found.

You cannot just use it another jeep as they VIN lock once re-programmed. Needless to say, Northridge has them for $339 and I think its 2 day shipping.

The programmers are locked to a vin number. It can only be used on one vehicle at a time. Give Quadratec a call and get a pro-cal for 130.00 bucks or so.
