control arm questions

im stepping up to 35s and also plan to go to the RE 3.5 coils as well on my 2 door. In order to correct my pinion and caster angles would i need adjustable upper or lower control arms. i will eventually get both but my budget does not allow me to right now. also, i noticed that many of the big names are pretty much the same price, is there any brand that comes out on top? i was looking at the Rubicon express, rock krawler, full traction, and teraflex.

You should only need the Lower Control Arms. I have the Teraflex, and they are tough!

I have Teraflex front lowers and rear uppers.. I am completely happy with them...

I've had 35s with a 4" lift for about 2yrs and it's driving me nuts with the handling lately. After a lot of hours logged searching the forum I decided to go with Rock Krawler. Majority of the threads say front lowers and rear uppers are all you need to dial the caster back in. I'm so eager to install them that when they get delivered this week I'll probably put them on in the driveway even though it's barely 20degrees outside!

Does anyone know the reason for lower front and upper rear? Seems to me that lower front and rear would do the same

Yeah I ran into opening a can of worms on my 2dr when I got longer rear lowers. Spring perch kit, Currie Antirock rear swaybar, relocate/ remove rear control arm bracket. But now I'm running 38's on a 2.5 and 1 inch body !!
Like planman said front adj uppers or lowers. I'd get a adj front trackbar and get a good alignment.

Wow thanks for the explanation, much appreciated

I second the rock krawler arms. Most of the well known brands offer a good product but I know that the RK stuff works really well and has the flex of a spineless gymnast on muscle relaxers.

Now what about control arm relocation brackets you can get that fix the caster after a 3 to 4" lift , the bracket cost 100 a whole lot cheaper then ADJ arms

Also, how long will my stock driveshafts last with the 3.5 coils, I ride trails often but not usually anything to serious
