I bought Mastercraft MXT'S, which is an off shoot of Cooper. No matter what I did they pulled to right. Returned, and got new Duratrac's and no more pull. I did want Cooper's but am Leary of them now. I would stick with Duratrac's, unless just wanting 37's.

Based on the experience you described, I would be leery of Mastercraft MXT's. Don't kid yourself, they are nothing like a Cooper STT Pro.

***edit*** Meant to say "they are nothing like a Cooper STT Pro but they are similar to the older STT."

Why...ever have them?

I just got them in a 37 and no pull, balanced great and good traction.

I read where other's had no issues. Maybe it is only in 35's? I just know what issue I had with them! I agree, they looked good, good price, and really wanted them to work for me.

I've heard that in some cases the previous generation of Cooper SST, not the SST Pro, may have had pull problems...

I hear ya. I know the MTR K's are all over the place with hit and miss issues also.

Seems every manufacturer has them...just some more than others.

Based on what he described, my guess is his problems are the tires he has. Has nothing to do with the tires you have. Also, I edited my original post to clarify what I said. The Mastercrafts are nothing like a STT Pro but they are similar to the older STT.

I had a set of the original STT's on my RAM 1500 and I had the dreaded radial pull. Did everything I could to fix it and the only thing that worked was taking them off.

Perhaps a bit late on this thread, but I just replaced my 37 13.5 17s Toyo MTs with same size stt pros. I have nothing but praise for Cooper on these tires. I just pulled out an idiot that drove his 350z into powder mnt ski resort parking lot this morning, snow atop ice...anyways Toyos were great in the snow too, and I honestly can't tell the difference between the two on performance in the snow as both eat snow and it's easy to drive in it. However, the stt pros are quieter on the hwy, smoother on the street, no radial pull that the Toyos had, no issues so far crawling over rocks...running same psi as the ole Toyos and tires are same load rating...running same wheels. Sorry if this sounds like an advert, but I'm so far very happy with the stt pros, it was worth getting rid of my Toyos and I'm not looking back.
