Default Curious about TF leveling kit and 33's

Howdy all, as the title says I'm curious about a TF leveling kit and running 33's. I was actually looking into a suspension kit and 35's but realized I don't have an endless flow of cash . So I've settled on what I want to do, I'm going to go with the TF leveling kit, AEV pintlers and most likely 285/70/17 Kelly TSR's or same size nitto terra grapplers. Also more info most likely helps... I have a 12JK 2dr manual, not planning to do any heavy offroading for the next 6-9 months which is why i'll be happy with the leveling kit for now.

Basically i'm curious if anyone's run the TF leveling kit with the pintlers and 33x11.5's, and if someone has this setup then what might I need to do other than install everything. I guess my concerns are would I need wheel spacers, or any type of adjustment to anything right away, i'm looking to do all this within the next 2-3 weeks. Seeking advice because I've over saturated myself looking at multiple posts about this and that but not what i'm looking to do specifically. Thanks in advance to any and all responses, and feel free to let me know if I left out any info that would help guiding me in the right direction.

You shouldn't need wheel spacers for those wheels and tires. The teraflex leveling kits are nice and not very hard to install. You'll be surprised at the difference it makes. I'm running 35" BFGs on it. Cheers!

Well... I am a complete and total newb it seems, there's a nice long thread going on about the TF leveling kit in the sponsor section that I just saw and read most of. So I have read up on that but I am still curious if anyone has ran this exact set up the TF leveling kit and AEV pintlers wrapped in 33x11.5's, pics would even be better so I know going in what i'd be looking at... even so I would appreciate any words of advice or wisdom as this will be my first time under the jeep. Again thanks in advance for any and all help.

And thanks SBEII, what you said is what i'm thinking but figured i'd throw out what i'm planning on doing and gain as much insight before I do it and am caught completely off-gaurd by randomness. From what i've read though I won't even have to worry about an alignment which is.

I spent my money on the TF coil lift with Nitto 33s (I've had them for a bit, and they did rub at full turn). I was going to do the leveling kit, then the BB, but in the end I saved up adn did this and I am done, even if I get 35's. Just installed today so I am pretty excited. Driving in a field or dirt trails it actually feels better than stock, the springs feel right, no hard bounces.

I have a TF leveling kit (I have a lot of pictures in my profile of when I installed mine) but have XD Crank wheels on terra grapplers. One tip I can tell you is when you go to the back throw a dab of grease on those knobs on top....will make the install go smoother. I also used the coil as a press to get them to pop in......good luck! It's a great feeling when you do stuff yourself.

Will work just fine; however, consider running a 305 section width. The tread lugs on most tires in the wider variety are much larger and the voids are bigger too. Makes for a better experience offroad.

A 305/65R17 is similar in height to a 285/70R17.

Would this also generate more road noise?

What would be the height? I'm wanting to go with a 33" tire, I think.

A tire advertised as a 33" tire usually measures 32.5" to 32.8"

Mine, if I recall correctly measure almost 32.5 when mounted. The 285/70R17 was .2" taller.

Road noise is the same as the original 255/75R17 BFG mt tires that came stock on my rubi.
