Default Currie ROCKJOCK 44 and rock hard engine skid

Hey guys, I just swapped in a rock jock 44 front diff. I also have the rock hard engine/trans skid. The ribs of the skid are contacting the engine skid slightly. Axle is pretty centered (as good as I can get it. (Synergy trackbar is as short as she will go.)

Has anyone had an issue with this setup?

My options as I see it are:
1) to trim the ribbon the DIFF just slightly
2) modify the engine skid and bracket that extends down off the motor mount.

Anyone have the same experiance?

Just an observation, have you contacted Currie or Rock Hard in an effort to report that these two products could have issues if used together. Often this could mean a redesign of one or both products for a better fit.

So what caught my eye in your post is you said the track bar is as short as you can get it. That seems odd to me. You have a 3.5" lift so that track bar should be longer than a factory track bar in order to get the front axle moved back to center. Are you sure your axle is centered? (Perhaps you have a raised track bar bracket as well and that's the reason it's short).

Just a thought.

I had this happen with my ProRock 44 & Rock Hard skid, Dynatrac said center the axle and grind what you need to from the rib as its plenty strong and will not hurt it.

Well I had to trim the trackbar down and axle is centered now. Yes I have a high steer setup.

Definetly better clearance but I'm still contacting the engine skid.

Currie and rock hard were no help.

Hoping someone has a Currie 44 and an engine skid. Want to know what you have.

I have a PR60 front and had that problem. I believe I ended up cutting off the front corner and moving the point that the bracket connects to further back some.
