Default Custom tie rod

Have access to 7075 aluminum solid bar in a few sizes. Would i clear the diff cover if i use a straight tie rod with offset rod ends. I would like to use 1.75" or 1 5/8" at a min. If this can't be done i will have to see about bending the ends of the bar and go with straight TRE's

Rock Krawler tie rod uses the stock TRE for the drag link at the pitman arm. There aluminum rod will bend but will come back to original shape. Most normal aluminum won't do that with out special treatment/processing.

It will work with GM 1 ton offset tie rod ends. But wheels need to be at least 16.5.

i know with those ends on the RuffStuff rod it will work but that is a 1.5" bar....i would like to run 1.75 if i can. Also wish someone made an offset TRE that has the stock D44 taper on it.
