Dana 60s
Im wanting to put Dana 60 under the front and rear of my jeep. Im looking to do a junkyard swap and didn’t know if there was a certain vehicle to Pull the axles from for my ‘12 JKU. Hoping someone might have some advice?

IIRC the Ram 2500 from the late 90s, early 2000s with the gas V8s have them both front and rear. I think the Ram 3500 from the same time period also had them in the front. I'm assuming you're a pretty good fabricator....? That isn't an easy swap.

Not sure on the rear 60, but my front is out of a 2006 F350SD. We used the Artec kit, and I matched the reluctor wheels on my 14-bolt in the rear so all of my ABS sensors still function. You WILL need all 4 functioning, even if you run them off of two wheels. The 14b or Ford Sterling are both 10.5" ring gears, and stronger than the 60. I sold my Rubicon axles, and ended up with around $3000 in my axle build. 5.13s, ARBs, Artec kits, new brakes, seals, bearings, U-joints, etc...

Hope you're aware of everything involved (wheels, driveshafts, brakes, etc.). Read this first: https://www.jkowners.com/forum/modif...-ton-swap.html
Here's a guide from Artec: JK 1 Ton Swaps
Ideally you want a 2005+ Superduty front, with 14b in the rear. Sterling 10.5's won't play nice with the factory gas tank skid on JKU's, so you'll need a fuel cell. Good thread: https://www.jkowners.com/forum/modif...xle-bible.html
Check out some of the axle bibles on Pirate: https://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/jeep...ps-thread.html
