Default Dash Brake lights on

ABS alerts came on when I drove my jeep after it sat for 4 weeks...tried turning steering wheel left and right and turning on and off...won't go off. Any suggestions?

The best thing to do is to scan and see what codes popped up. You'd need something that can dig down into the various modules rather than a simple OBDII scanner, but they don't have to cost much. Jscan app and a BT dongle would be a total of ~$35. BlueDriver is nice too but is ~$100. Jscan is pretty dynamic as a programmer and diagnostic tool. If the ABS is lighting up though, there is a code thrown and scanning it will tell you precisely which sensor threw it. Very likely you just have a bad ABS sensor in one of the corners.

have you ever had the auto parts stores scan for you? I have not but I wonder if they could scan the ABS module for the OP for free.

I have the BlueDriver and Jscan- nice to have, especially for intermittent problems and live monitoring. I like the blue drivers interface and monitoring but Jscan’s configuration tools.
