The dealer won't touch my JK under warranty because of my mods. The rep told me with my tire size (35") is enough to void my drivetrain warranty. Nevermind the 3" lift, new driveshafts, upgraded diff cover and brake lines just name a few. I tried to educate the rep about the federal law, but he says that its not up to him and that I should call Chrysler headquaters and see what they have to say. Before I contact them I need to be prepared. I need a copy of the law that states that the dealer has the burden of proof to void my warranty.

Of course any suggestions are welcome

Thanks

Is that the only dealer in PR? If so, the law you are speaking of is the Magnuson-Moss Warranty act. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnuson-Moss_Warranty_Act

No, but they are all governed by PR Chyrsler headquaters and they all follow the same policy. They are a bunch of crooks All car dealers have here in PR especially Chrysler have their clients under the false pretense that any mod done to your auto voids warranty. Thanks to this forum the wool has been pull off my eyes. No one here has no knowledge of the Magnuson-Moss Warranty act.

Thanks for the info

My front E-locker dog clutch is sticking. It won't disengage. Needs to be done manually. Real PTA.

I am not sure the but the Magnusson Moss act may not be valid outside of the United States. I would bet someone on here will know.

Puerto Rico is a US Territory (self-governing), and Federal Laws--of which MM is one--apply.

this probably isn't going to end in your favor. You have limited alternatives and the cost to litigate will not be easy to take. Borrow a set of 32's from someone and then drive it in
