I remember the person in the page had his at 7.0. Again this isn't my opinion just what I read. I'd love to find an answer for you. My old 72 chevy had DW.

You have to be careful with caster, too much will cause a horrible pinion angle. If you have any aftermarket CV DS, you WILL get vibrations at the pinion with too much caster. (This can cause other problems beyond DW)

I will agree with you that more caster will fight the wheeled tendency to wobble, but in most cases it is not the cause of DW, only the catalyst that starts the vibration.
