Dent aluminum box!!
Hey guys went trailing last weekend I gave my rig a rest during the week, till Thursday I got in and started driving and I heard knocking coming from the driver side I took a look under and found this.

It's right above the driveshaft, to me it sounds like that's where the knocking coming from, does anyone have any info on this problem. I don't have a lift or tires everything is stock, I do have warranty so I was wondering if it would be covered.
Thanks for reading, and the help.
Keep wheelin!

That aluminum you see above the driveshaft is just heat shielding that is adhered to your body so I don't think the noise is coming from there. What type of knocking? Metal clanking? Is there any play in the ujoint in the photo?

That "aluminum box" is actually a heat shield/blanket that is wrapped around your starter motor. It prevents the starter motor from burning out prematurely due to the heat of the exhaust. I suspect that your problem is the boot around the factory front driveshaft. That boot is ridiculously close to the transmission pan and can easily be torn. If you follow the front driveshaft from the axle up to the transfer case, you may see that boot is torn and wrapped around the driveshaft. Of course that's just a guess. Can't be certain without examining the full underbelly of the Jeep in person.
Yeah it sound like metal clanking when I accelerate the noise tends to get loud, once I hit the highway the sound tends to die out I'm guessing because of the speed I'm going at but when I slow the clanking gets pretty loud
