Looking at getting a performance programming enhancer. I have narrowed it down to the Diablosport Predator and the Superchips Flashpaq. Given the experience of all you fellow JK owners, any advice/input would be greatly appreciated for my decision making.

 

If you aren't going to get into some of the more esoteric upgrades such as long tube headers, I would go with the Flashpaq. I believe the Diablo is a good fit if your going to do some things like have your heads milled, install a supercharger or do a throttle body replacement, then the ability to have a custom tune via one of their affiliates is the way to go.

For most of us and with the typical bolt ons, the Flashpaq has performed great and with the new transmission package for automatics it delivers features that aren't available on the Diablo.

Bottom line is that if you are pushing the limits of bolt on hardware, and plan to do things beyond the average Joe who does an intake and exhaust, which leads to minimal gains outside a supercharger, the Diablo is the right route. If your going to throw on a CAI and an exhaust, generally the most the majority of us try to do to gain some power the Flashpaq is the right fit.
