I have an 07 jku with 6spd ,3.21's and 35's I have done exhaust ,cai, tb spacer and super chips tuner I saw very slight gains and only maybe 1mpg increase in fuel mileage. I have since regeared but I only went 4.56 so I can still run the 80-85 mph speeds on the highway and keep rpms at a decent range . I am way more pleased with the regear performance than anything else Ive done for power. The only thing Ive noticed with my regear is my fuel mileage should have went up around town and it went down 1-1.5 mpg, highway it is about the same. Im thinking maybe change the tune with the superchip and see what happens. And yes I have recalibrated the speedo for the gears/tires and have verified mph and miles driven with a handheld gps. But Im still happy I regeared I dont care to much about mileage I drive a jeep . SO REGEAR AND DONT LOOK BACK ! you will actually enjoy driving your jeep way more than you do now.

I have a 2011 6 speed. I've done both a regear and, just bought, the Diablosport.
I can tell you first hand, the Diablosport has made a difference, but the gear change, blows it away.
At like 600 bucks, the diablosport is expensive, and your about halfway to a gear swap already. So, just do the gears imo. Then do the tuner later.

I as well just put a 3.5" lift and 35's last week. Every weekend I drive 250miles highway round trip and I can tell it won't be fun after this first weekend with them. Was quoted $2,000 for gears/labor and Solid diff covers, how much is an average gear swap? Anyway to hold me over I bought a superchips (mianly for speedo and a lil pep) and a banks intake. Since I like cruising 80mph, and do more highway driving than street, what would be a good gear? I'm thinking 4:88 max?

I would say 4.88 max some guys will probably disagree and say 5.13. I run 4.56 cause I do longer trips on the highway and usually run 80-85mph at that speed my rpms are 2950-3100 if I keep it at 75mph i maintain 2750 or so with decent fuel mileage. I am running with a 6spd so tranny type will be a factor also for you.

Not bad I guess, but I'm not big fan of "from".

That's a good price in Canada. I just don't get the "from" part. A gear install is a gear install. Smells fishy.
