Are they serious? Come on. That seems like an awful lot of tooling for fake HID's. Are they at least halogen projectors?

Yup, completely fake and designed for show purposes only. I don't know where they got it from but I got the impression that they didn't actually make it.

I have the next best thing to HID lights---Cibie Euro code with "city light" for $62. I will be running relays to the larger bulbs.

I take delivery of the Rubi on Monday!

How difficult would it be to retro fit these.. I personally don't care for them.. But some others are interested in the style..

Not really. Now that DC and other manufacturers are aware of Jeepers who would be interested in something like this, I'd be willing to bet someone will make a set in the near future.

So long as it's 7" (as it seems it is) and you can find a mounting ring to mount it and assuming you can find a wiring harness that'll support it... yeah, I'll bet you could make it work.

suvlights.com has several 7" round HID options. A few bi-xenon projectors and a few HID specific reflector housings.

I think the one with the black housing looks the best, despite having a set of DD on the front of your Jeep
