Does anyone know if these diff covers allow different gears and lockers to be installed. The arb one for example only allows for arb lockers.

I like my riddler covers with lube lockers. Probably can't go wrong with either cover. I don't think I'll ever use rtv again on my diffs. I've banged the hell out of my covers and no issues with damage or leaks. A bit more expensive, but saves so much time from having to clean off rtv and you might be able to get a few uses out of them. Just watch the torque. The instructions on the lube lockers say something like 30 ft pounds, however, the bolts that come with the riddler covers can only be torqued to something like 17. I had to research the proper torque based on the grade and size of the bolts. You'll read lots of stories where folks torqued the heads of their bolts right off with lube lockers because they followed the instructions. No need to tighten down all crazy like. Like I said I've had no issues with leaks.

Default DIF COVER with DRAIN PLUG

I found it is a LOT more convenient AND less expensive to modify the dif cover to accommodate a drain plug. The pic shown is of a heavy duty Body Armor Dif cover for a D30 I had modified and powder coated RED. However, I traded my JKU with the D30 and never did install the cover.

The cover was modified for a drain plug AND an additional hole that can be used to inspect the insides. (One hole for a light and the other to see the internals.) The one time cost of a cover with a drain hole is cheaper than having others change the fluid even once.

Willing to sell for $130 if interested.

I like my Warrior Products Diff guards. They handle abuse great, the front is tricky on a D30 though to access the fill plug...Strong stuff though

So riddler covers won't fit on a stock 2012 rubicon?

I went for the diff cover skids. That way you don't have to worry about the trac bar hitting

So aftermarket diff covers will hit the stock track bar?
