difference between flashpaq 3872 and 3875?

Hey guys,

Was gonna pull the trigger on a Flashpaq but noticed on Northridge's site they offer 2 different P/N's for my 08 JKU 3.8

Is this a mistake or are there really two?

If so, which is better?

The red one is for up a 2010 and was the original one. The tan one now contains the new program for all jk years. Either one will work.

I have a 3872 for sale. It is tan in color and does reflash your ecu. The flashpaq does everything and the flash cal only does tire size and a few other things. Hope this helps!

That's what I thought too. Northridge actually has two flashpaq's listed in addition to the flashcal. One is red and one is tan. Different program for different years.

Why are you selling it?

So they do the exact same thing? Does the new tan 3872 do anything addition to the red 3875?

Not to my knowledge. 2007-2010 have the same ecu. The 2011's have their own and 2012 and up have another ecu.

So I'd need the red 3875 to be safe?

Either one would be fine. You might be able to find a used one on here for less on the billboard section.
