different wheels ?
I have a 2010 rubicon with 17" wheels with stock 32" tires, I want to go to 15" wheels with 35" tires. Is there any down side to going to a smaller rim or will it mess up my computer ?

the rims will have no effect as long as they have proper backspacing. The 35" tires are going to knock your speedo off so you will need a tuner or a pro cal

I like the fact that you want a smaller rim size , unlike alot of people here wanting big rims for their show off queens! 15" rims used to be very popular , and I have a set on one of my rigs , It is also true that the bigger the rim size , the more tires cost for them. There are alot of variables such as will the rim fit over your brake system , and how much backspacing you need so you can turn from lock to lock . probably one of the first things to look at is do they make the tire you like in that rim size . taller rims are becoming the norm. you really want to make sure a 15" rim will fit your jeep , I am not sure but I have a feeling they won't fit over your brakes . I my self would probably stick with the factory size , but thats up to you! Good luck and get back to us and tell us what you have decided to do . I wouldn't mind going with a 15" rim on my jk either , the taller the sidewall , the beter as far as I am concerned , also I could then trade tires from jeep to jeep !

I like the fact that for the most part you can buy 15" wheels AND tires for around the same price as JUST the tires alone that fit 17" wheels. To me it just makes sense to get a smaller wheel.

My 5 15" alloy wheels and 35" bfg km2's came out to 1500 bucks brand new. Hell of a deal in my opinion
