Default Do i still need wheel spacers?

I'm currently running stock rubicon wheels which are 7.5" wide with 5.5" backspacing with 1.5 " wheel spacers and 35 x 12.50 x 17 mt's. I just purchased https://www.quadratec.com/p/black-rh...ep-wrangler-jk which are 8" wide with 5.7" backspacing and just curious if I still need the spacers to prevent rubbing. thanks in advance I've done a lot of research but couldn't figure it out.

stock rims have 6.25 bs not 5.5. I think with 5.7" bs you are going to rub. I ran 35/12.5 with 5.2 with no issues but another 1/2" is probably not going to cut it.

5.7" BS with additional 1.5" spacer is going to be more than enough clearance. Most target 4.5" BS for a 35x12.5, so you'll have more than enough clearance running 4.2" BS (wheel+spacer). As Jadmt suggest, you'll probably rub a bit at 5.7" BS without the spacer....even with a couple washers in the steering stop.

Yes, 9" wide with 4.5" BS is prob the most common for a 35.....with the real benefit being not having to run spacer. I know that's pretty frustrating to learn after the fact. If it's not economical to return them, and this is a jeep you'll have for a long time, I'd say it might be worth taking a loss, selling them as brand new unused wheels, and buy something else. I'd much prefer to not have spacers at all if possible. I have them myself at the moment, but not thrilled about it.

So I had my wheels mounted and they stuck out 2 in past my fender flares so I removed the spacers and they sit out just barely past the flare now. I still have plenty of clearance on my front sway bar and lower control arms at full wheel lock. I guess the true test will be when I flex it on the trail.
