Don't sweat it. Clips are cheap, and the flares are super easy to stick back on.
I'm on 4th set of stock flares (trail damage, an idiot who sideswiped me, trimming and then wanting to go back to full stock flares for the winter. I grab them from people who went to flats and just want the take-offs out of their garages...)

A20887 box of 15 - $9.02
A11146 box of 25 - $3.18

New tires and rims at the same time, in the spring = no more salt on the roads . Well I guess my tire debacle is now 305/70/17 and 315/70/17. Again I do have a tf leveling kit installed and don't want to rub when turning. When I go to the dunes i won't be bashing at all just concerned that if I catch a little whoop I'll rip a fender off. I'm partial to my fenders as they are painted the same as my body. Also I will probably never disco it. Thanks again everyone!

Hello, First post! Just recently picked up a 2016 Jeep Wrangler unlimited Sahara (rhino color) with max tow package 3.73 axle ratio. In the spring I am going to purchase the fuel anza D558 17x8.5 wheels with 4.5 back space. I am going to get the new Nitto ridge grappler tires (c rated) but cannot decide between 285/70/17 or 285/75/17???? It is my daily driver and I may take it to silver lake sand dunes to just cruise around with the kids. No rock crawling or hard off trails. My concern is I don't want to rub. I am leaning towards the 285/75/17 (33.8x11.2R17) I installed the Teraflex puck leveling kit. Thank you Steven

Really like the wheels .. can you please provide more detail around manufacturer etc
Your Jeep looks awesome! Can you please provide detail regarding the manufacturer/model/size of your wheels? Thanks for your post!

Here it is, from my local America's Tire shop. Love these wheels, get tons of compliments. Not overly expensive either. You won't regret getting them! 5.7" backspacing work perfectly with 315/70/17 Duratracs and no rub. They don't stick out far at all and won't stress your axles like 4.5" backspacing wheels might.

If money's an issue for regearing and you don't need to use 4wd in the near future have your shop regear just the rear axle and have them pull the front driveshaft (very simple for them to do) and regear the front when you can afford to do it. A good shop shouldn't charge more than $800/ axle to regear to 4.56

I did 315/70/R17 BFG A/T KO2's with a 2in Mopar lift mounted on 17x9 wheels with 4.5in backspacing. No steering rub at all. The KO2's are definitely one of if not the best A/T tire for both great on road and off road performance.
I'm not having any problems using them with my stock 3.73 gears despite others saying I would be better off going with a 33 instead of a 35, if I wasn't going to immediately re-gear to 4.88 or 5.13 gears. It feels fine and the sky hasn't fallen.
