^^^^. 34's. 285/75/17's. Toyo MT Even with a 3" lift I can stuff them into the fenders. These have about 38k miles on them and have been a great tire. I've been very happy with the size but will be buying 35's or 37's next only because I've beefed up the front end and I do a lot of off roading. I think 285/75/17's are a great tire size. Good luck with your choice.

I really want a c-rated tire. Looks like I need to upgrade to flat fenders or lift it more to accommodate for "large" tires. I really don't want to go do more then the leveling kit right now.
Then go for the 305/70/17 BFG KM2's, I had them and they'll work fine with your leveling kit. I don't believe it's possible to find a "C" rated tire in the size you want but don't sweat the rating.

It sounds like you might like a taller yet narrower tire. Try to find a 285/75/ R17 or R18 that you might like. That is a 35, but is 11.5in wide. The KO2's also come in a 34x10.50R17.

I recently got BFG MT KM2's in 285/75R17 on mine, 2" Mopar lift. 4.5" backspacing on new 17x9" rims. I'd prefer they not stick out quite as much so maybe a little more backspacing would be better, but I think the tire size is perfect. Re-programmed for tire size. I can feel a little power loss with my OEM 4:10's but still plenty of power.

That looks good man, looks like it should have right from the factory. I wish Jeep would make your size tire an option vs just the 255's as largest

I agree. I didn't want rubbing issues with my lift and wanted to minimize the mpg impact by not going to 12.5" width. Studied the sizes long and hard and the 34's are perfect for me, as many have suggested on the forum. I've had the 12.5" wides before on my 2006 LJR and Early Broncos and understand the appeal. But not for me this time.

Thats looks great. That's what I have decided to go with 285/75/17 nitto ridge grapplers. I'm about to pull the trigger with the Black Friday/cyber sales going on. Do you have any rubbing issues at? I have a leveling kit and doudoibt I will off road very much, just some sand dune cruising. You have me questioning the 4.5 wheel offset now

I've only been off-road once and didn't do much articulation. No rubbing when turning at all. I'm going from the many posts on this forum that 34s with a 2 in lift won't rub. I still have about 1" clearance to the Rubicon rock rail too so I doubt it will rub either. My off-roading today is primarily scenic roads. I will be testing it some in January at the Winter 4x4 Jamboree in St. George, Utah so we'll see what happens then.
