Default Drag Link Recommendation

2015 JKUR 2.5" AEV lift, 35" KO2 on stock rubi wheels w/1.5" Spidertrax spacers, ARB front bumper, 22k miles. 4wd Parts put the tires on two three weeks ago. Steering sucks. Took it in the an alignment and they say the steering knuckle side of the drag link has too much play. Don't want to fight with dealer. I'm looking for a recommendation for a heavy duty drag link that is adjustable while on the vehicle. I plan to do the tie rod later, since it's still ok. Anyone have any experience? Thanks in advance.

It's unlikely that your drag link is in rough shape with only 35s and 22k miles, I would check for yourself and assume its something else. I have a synergy drag link with no complaints.

I have Synergy also. Good stuff.

Steering sucks.
What is the actual complaint? What are the alignment specs?

Before throwing money at it, doesn't hurt to get a second opinion. Some shops offer free checks, no need to pay for a whole new alignment. Or, stuck to the top of the Writeups area is a good diagnosis thread if you want to check it all out yourself.

Be sure to get a drag link with a bend in it. The Rubicon Express is a hefty unit but running it in the stock position isn't ideal......even though it says it can be run stock or flipped.

The shop tech and manager showed me the movement after they aligned it, but I'm at work and the print out is at home. They offered to re-align it free of charge after I replace the drag link. It's drifts slightly to the right sporadically and not consistently and the steering has a little bit of a wobbly feeling. I have no reason to think they aren't shooting strait with me and have always treated me well. I'm just trying to decide which aftermarket drag link to order. I plan to install it myself. I'm no mechanic, but did my own lift, bumper, winch, lights, and genera maintenance, so I'm confident I can install the drag link.

If it is in fact your drag link, go with synergy.

Adjusts on the jeep with three tools, and installs at home in under 60 minutes

Yeti steersmart for the win. Super stout and easy to adjust.

I've heard others say use the Synergy. Is there any special reason?
