Default Drivers Foot Rest?

Has anyone come up with a mod. to add a foot rest for the driver? I couldn't find anything in the search so how about some ideas!

Thanx

Dave

I have thought about that also, just because I have had them in my other vehicles, but I just dont think there is enough room for it and it probably would look out of place.

A little pricey and I'm not sure if they bolt right in to the JK. There are days when I think a left footrest would be pretty nice.

I have thought about a dead pedal but I think the area is too small. I do think I want a rest on the outside mounted on the lower door hinge when the doors are off.

Take the doors off and hang your foot out. Just an idea.

I cant stand cars with left side dead pedels....
Why do people need to rest their left foot on something, cant you just rest it on the floor?
Being that Im 6' 2" I like the fact that the JK doesnt have one, so I can actually extend my legs and stretch out.

Thanks seer1. For those of us that are...chronologically gifted...an extra foot rest helps with the various aches and pains plus it provides something to stomp on when you have an "Oh S***" moment. Since I have a stock front bumper I can't give away...I'll have to look at some fabrication

Default MORE dead pedal

FWIW, I just installed the MORE dead pedal and it is great. Very simple to install and as mentioned above, helps with the aches on a long drive.
