Default Driving with no rear swaybar links

Just out of curiosity has anyone done this? I'm planning on buying a rough country bb and was thinking of moving the rear sway bar links to the front for regular street driving, but I don't have any replacements to put in the rear. Would there be any safety issues with having no rear links or would it be better to keep with the stock links?

Yup! I had absolutely zero issues...however some people on here seem to think it is über dangerous and makes the jeep drive horrible. I barely noticed a difference. I did it because my wheels are 5.6 backspacing and the rears were going to run. I say try it, if it feels ok to you then roll with it until you get quick discos for the front.

last week, I swapped my jeep up to some 4" springs, i already had front adjustable sway links, but i was sent the wrong links for the rear. drove around for the week without any rear links, commute, city traffic, barely paved pothole and frostheaved covered boston roads, and highway. No issues at all. The rear didnt even feel that loose. I installed some proper length rear links this weekend, and it did tighten up the jeep, but only when driving like a psycho (you know, trying to spin the tires while cornering type). So, overrated I say, unless you plan on driving like a madman

This fear is typically 2 doors.. the 4dr weight and wheelbase helps. I don't recommend it. I had issues after 6 mos without it i noticed the front diving more frequently as the bushings wore out slowly. The jeep didnt feel comfortable crawling with out at least one bar connected. JKS makes a narrow adjustable rear link and it wasn't expensive.

So do most people wheel with the rear swaybar connected? I figured I was just being lazy by leaving the rear connected...

I bought my 2dr JK used without a rear swaybar (i didn't know). The Jeep was stock at that time.
When I was turning fast, the rear inside wheel was lifting from the ground

I then bought 305mm wide tire with 4.5 backspace. The cornering improved and no more lifting of the wheel.
When I lifted my Jeep, I discovered that I was missing the rear swaybar and installed a stock one.

What a world of difference it made! But I'm driving sporty so it may be different for you...

Depends on your driving style, most ppl wouldn't notice, as mentioned above.
