It'll make a difference in your wallet. Won't make a bit of difference in what I assume is a problem with your steering.

Some people think a dual setup looks cooler.

Nope. Is your motivation for one of these because of a steering problem or just looks? If it's a steering problem, then read that link I posted. That is HANDS DOWN the best help you can get for steering troubles.

Many people with lifts and larger tires are perfectly happy with just the stock stabilizer, and it shouldn't be hard to find a few people on here who are not running a stabilizer at all. You just need to do the research and decide for yourself if the cost is worth it.

But, if you have an issue, yes, dual stabilizers may help to cover up that issue so you don't feel the shimmy or failing components or whatever. Just realize that you would be better off actually fixing the issue rather than throwing a bandaid on top of it.

I don't need one either. I do wonder why the wheel spacers with after market wheels ? Did he buy the wrong wheels ? I installed spacers once and it gave me shimmy in the steering. I removed them never another problem. I also had a 4" pro comp lift on my 08 JKUR. It drove so bad, I couldn't take it off and throw it away fast enough. It felt like it was wondering all the time, it would dart if I hit uneven surfaces, just the worse. Now I have their 6" long arm kit with fox shocks. Have had it for 7 years now. Best move I ever made !
