Dunlap Rover M/T Maxx Traction
I'm about to pull the trigger on a set of 33" Dunlap M/Ts.
These would replace my 33" Hankooks, one of which suffered a major sidewall puncture (not repairable). I'm about to pull off the winter tires. Inasmuch as these Dunlaps are winter (snow flake on the sidewall) rated, I'm thinking that they will eliminate the need for both summer and winter tires.
Does anyone have any experience with these tires? I have a friend who has them on his much modded TJ. He swears by them.

I've heard nothing but good reviews on them. There was one JK that had them on his jeep that i saw and he loved them. They were exceptionally good in snow and ice, good offroad, good handling manners. I was debating them. I'm still trying to decide on tires for my jeep and just can't make a decision. I'd love to run these tires.

Dunlap M/T.. Winter rated.
BFG KM2.. Only so-so on snow and ice.
Goodyear MT/R.. Like the BFG in terms of snow and ice.
Goodyear DuraTrac.. Winter rated.
My Hankook DynaPro MTs. Not winter rated. Not very good on packed snow or ice.

I was looking at these as well and ended up going with the duratracs and couldn't be happier...When I was looking at both side by side the GY's just looked better still can't go wrong with the Dunlops.

I just put a set of the Maxx Traction 33's on my rubi unlimited, and I love them. I've got about 1000 miles on them so far. They have much better traction on the street and in snow and ice than the stock BFG MT's, and they are great on the trail and on the rocks. Haven't tried them in the mud yet. They aren't even close to actually being 33 inches tall, though. More like barely 32". Here's a couple of not so great pics.

Obviously, all tires, when on the Jeep, are shorter than that, as they tend to be flat on the bottom when supporting the JK, etc.

I looked at the Mud Rovers, too. It came down to the Dunlops, Hankook Dynapro MT's, or Fierce Attitude. I didn't like the sidewalls on the Fierce (way too corny), I already have a set of BFG winter treads, so I went with the Hankooks. Still pretty new with very few miles on'em (about 200 kms, 2 kms mud so far). I tested them on packed snow and ice and can testify that they're not great on it. I'll only be running them in the summer anyway. Good luck tire shopping, everyone! I shopped around for 7 months before actually deciding at the last minute!
