dyna bead balancing works, period!
#1. the filtered valve stems do not work with jk tpms sensors unfortunately (they are too long and bump against the sensor and will not take air. however i just used my factory stems and they haven't clogged yet. I think the way they are made does not allow the beads to enter and clog them.
#2. just use the oversized mud tire beads then you will not need the filtered stems. you do not need the applicator tool or to break down your tire either. just deflate the tire, tie dental floss around the threads on stem, remove valve stem lock nut (holds tpms sensor in place), lower sensor and stem inside tire with floss, tie floss around something outside so you don't lose sensor inside tire, pour in beads, pull stem back into place, tighten lock nut!, air up tire and your finished with your tire shop till you bust it on a jagged rock.

guys, i use this site for a lot of great information, but unfortunately I do not have the time to post as much as I would like. These dyna beads I just had to let you know about because I have been frustrated for years with balancing mud tires and thought it was just something you had to put up with. Even if your results are not as good as mine have been, I promise you dyna beads will do at least as good a job as your stick on weights and you will not have to visit your tire shop monthly. Once again, I have only had them for a couple of weeks, but I have had the tires for one year, and they have never rode this smoothly.
at first I only bought enough for my front two tires. I am so happy with the results, i am ordering enough for the other 3 and buying some for my friends to try as well.

Since I'm having such a wobble issue, I contacted Innovative Balancing directly. I'm trying to find out if I can add 2 more ounces of the off-road size beads and if they can be added through the valve stem. Looking on their site, it suggests that they be added when mounting the tire. I do not have TPMS in my tires, so I'm wondering if I can add through the valve stem.
I'm running the 35x12.5 Goodyear Wrangler MTR w/ Kevlar. I'm hoping that I'm able to add 2 more ounces and that solves the problem. If not, I'll have to add some lead weights...

with yours, just get the regular beads and add them through the stem, and pick up some filtered valve stems since you don't have tpms. The small beads will work with the larger beads just fine and that way you will not have to break down the tire/wheel. I have 10oz of the small beads in my 35"s and they work great!
Yes, you can hear the beads rolling around and yes the tires need to be spinning for the beads to work, so at low speed you will still be unbalanced.
What I read on the site... you can get your tires balanced at a tire shop before hand, and also use the beads... the balance at a tire shop helps at low speeds... then these beads fix the error at high speeds or if you throw a weight
Are they noisy, or is it something that it subtle or can only be heard if your windows are down (for example). And how much speed is needed before the tires balance themselves? Do you go through a range of speed every time you leave a stoplight where the steering wheel shakes until you get up to speed, or is the low speed imbalance impercievable?

#1. I could hear the beads (dyna beads) while I was rolling the tire around on the ground before i mounted it, but just barely, and no not at all after mounting it. (and I have 10oz. which is alot)
#2. I would say the beads would kick in about 20 miles an hour, which is where balance issues become a problem, if you have wobble or shimmy before that, something else is also wrong I would say. My 35"s didn't wobble without any weights for balance until about 35mph (this is before I got the beads). All of the super swampers I have had (thornbirds, ssr, ltb) all start shaking at about 30mph in my experience. If you drove around at 10mph all the time, you wouldn't need balancing.
#3. The feel of my steering wheel is perfect at all speeds with the dyna beads. However, if you are concerned I would say the previous post is a good idea. Balance the tire at the shop without beads, come home and add the beads, couldn't hurt. That is the great thing about the beads. You can add mud, weight, etc. and the tires stay balanced anyway!

Just installed dyna beads through the valve stem on 32X11.50X15 super swamper ssr yesterday and I thought my old man was going to cry when he drove the truck for the first time. It's a tacoma with a very sensitive rack and pinion set up so he has had the shimmys with every tire he has ever owned. 8oz. of dyna beads and I didn't even bother pulling off the old weights. The truck has 70K miles and this is the first time the steering wheel has been still since it was new!
