dynatrac pro rock 44 opinions
 

Anyone running the pro rock 44? bout to pull the trigger and wanted some input and how well they hold up and if any problems:beer:

i don't know how much they are but if i were buying new axles for my jk i would buy 60's. if i didn't have quite enough i would just save a little longer. but just my opinion. you never stop were you think you will on mods. the jeep always gets a little bigger or better or at least you will want to.

The pro rock 60 front is over double the price of the pro rock 44. And if you arent going over 37-38" tires, a pro rock 44 front with good shafts should be plenty. The housing is FAR stronger than the D30/44 hybrid that the Rubicons come with. And well, and obvious upgrade over the D30 in an X/Sahara.

I don't have one myself, but I would gladly get one if it was in my budget.

budget is def worth it. the 60's i think might be a lil overkill but i know you never stop where you want to in the upgrade department so might do a 44 front 60 rear combo and still have capability. Im def gonna stick around 37 the way tires cost. Army dont pay that good

I already started saving up for the ProRock 44 a few months ago. I am about 30% there! Then again I am gonna buy the empty housing and transfer everything over from my front 44.

The Prorock 44 housing will accept all the JK internal parts, brakes, wheels, etc. and is a direct bolt on setup. The Prorock 60 needs new internal parts, brakes, wheels, etc. so the final cost is much higher. The Prorock 44 is also lighter than the 60 and is strong enough for all but the most radical off-roading. I plan on going with the Prorock 44.

here is a post on the 44 (granted not a pro rock but upgraded) with some pictures and description this is why i would go the 60 route.

it is more money initially but in the long run it won't be.
