Have you put them on yet. If you put them on and they fit well then you win, cause even the more high quality brands that come bare metal have bad fitment issues. Quick piss can paint and they'll look new again

Good luck

Not yet. I haven't decided if I want to keep them or not.

Sux that they came like that, but probably end up scratching them against a tree or rock at some point anyhow. As long as they fit decent, hit em with a little touch up and call it a day.

Course, given the quality control there......might question the fitment. Subscribed.

Im anxious to see how they fit as well! I've been eyeing those and the Aries as well. Can you tell how thick the tubing is? Does anyone know the wall thickness on the Aries? It needs to be able to take a rock hit without denting inwards for me.

I have the Aries, 2 are dented from low impact hit to tree, more like they rubbed against a tree and dented like nothing. If you're looking for something to take a rock hit, stick with steel.

Hang tight guys. I'm medical and work 12 hr night shifts all weekend long. Will probably put it on Monday and see. I can tell you I did put the right front fender flare on and it bolted up fine. From what I read, most people have difficulty putting the rears on, and I haven't even opened the rears up yet to see what the damage is. The other part is, there are no braces. It literally just bolts to the holes in the fender itself. I know some of the more expensive manufacturers have braces that go behind the metal 'lining' part of the fender where the holes are, and some also come with a bracket for support as well.

The E-autogrilles does not. It doesn't seem flimsy or anything primarily because it still sits on top of the metal bracket that sticks out from the fender.

While flat black will cover up the spots that are gouged (not just the paint, it's in the metal in a couple places). It won't actually match that metallic/black textured powder coat that comes on it.

I did contact e-autogrilles, and they gave me a few options via Ebay Message:

Hello William ,
We are sorry to hear that your item was received with damage, we have a couple of options to offer you at this time:
1) Issue a return label once the item is picked up we can
A: Issue a full refund for the items
B: send a replacement
2) 2- Issue a partial refund to keep the item as is [partial refund of $***]
These options are valid considering there are NO OPEN CLAIMS and NO NEGATIVE or NEUTRAL FEEDBACK. Please advise as soon as possible so we can proceed with your preferred resolution. We appreciate your time towards this matter.

... I asked them how much would the partial refund would be or if I could just swap out individual pieces. They replied they are closed on the weekends and would reply during next week.

More to come.

That coating is junk anyway and won't last, you should paint over it regardless. I have their rear bumper/tire carrier and it showed up scratched as well but those are the only complaints. You're lucky if they are giving you a partial refund, thats a good deal.

Is the tube thickness enough to take a small hit from a rock? Does the mounting method keep them rigid enough to not flex on the body?
