Default Emergency Top

Anyone have the Pavement Ends Emergency top that was in the new quadratec mag?

http://www.quadratec.com/products/11274_100_07.htm

I am wondering how easy of an install it is, and if its worth the price.

That thing looks cool, I saw it in my new catalog. The price is right too. I would like to see some feed back on it before I would think about purchasing one.

In the description is says: "Emergency Top is meant to be used for short, low speed trips", which means you can't run it on the highway or as a substitute for your regular top. Its for trail use only. Great idea though.

Judging by the pic, if you made a habbit of driving with it on you'd be missing some paint by the rear lights and other areas from the straps rubbing.

I could see using it for our jeep. The wife drives it m-f and I get it on weekends. She doesn't seem to be able to get the knack of raising the top up. Unfortunately, it seems to be only for 2 drs (we have a 4dr) or I would order it now.

Looks cool. I use a bestop safari top for this purpose here in rainy florida. This looks sketchy though with the low speed warning. Also, I wonder if it is taught or if water can pool on the top and cause sagging.
