Default ESP help

After installing a 3.25 lift and 35's the ESP is acting up a lot. I have lined the steering wheel back up straight as I can get it but the ESP is still kicking in around 30MPH it's applying the brakes a lot I have been digging through old post about how to correct the ESP problem but still not certain on the correct solution.

You will need a ESP reprogram which DC has not given indications that this
will come any time soon (or ever). It is measuring a higher center of gravity
than it was designed for. ......If your jeep was an aircraft, You would be considered a "test Pilot".

How did you align the steering wheel? mine is cocked a little to the driver side after my 2.5" TeraFlex lift install, but I only have problems with my ESP getting on on ramps too fast... but then again, my ESP main gyro thing was replaced before I got to take my Jeep home, b/c the dealership couldn't get the ESP light to go off..

The ESP problem is not that bad, but if it's not perfect it bugs the hell out of me.

Hey man we are going wheeling on the 13th (next sat.) at Shoecreek, it is a stock friendly place with some fun spots off the main trail that you don't have to do, but I always do

come check out our new local "Any Make and Model" Off Road club!
http://rva-or.thinkmud.com

It's called Richmond VA Off Road, but we have people from all over the state. Would love to have to sign up and come join us, we wheel a lot, usually at least twice a month at least a few of us go somewhere. We also have Mod days, and meet-n-greets to just hang out and help each other out and stuff. Bunch of cool guys, some have Jeeps, some Nissans, some Toyotas, Some Chevy, Some Ford, etc... we don't discriminate.

Thanks for the reassurance. I was a little nervous there about my install.

Another question how far out did you have to adjust the Tracbars???

Thanks man!

I just took a little drive and after adjusting the steering wheel back to normal the esp has not come on any more unless you drive it like a sports car but remember it's a JEEP not a car, truck, or an SUV. Seems like everything is fine now I'm still going to get the alignment checked on monday. I didnt really measure out how far the trac bars were extended but when i installed them it was sitting level on the ground and of the jack stands with all the weight on the wheels.

I read in a magazine (JP Magazine, I think) that you could have the dealer unload the ESP from your JK.

Does anyone know if this is true?

I have driven vehicles without that kind of crap all my life and lived to tell about it. I don't want my vehicle to take actions on my behalf.
