Anyone ever think about chopping the OE bumper, bedlining it, and fitting it right between the hooks. I saw a pic somewhere with this setup and I'm on the fence with it.
Any other thoughts.
Only suggestion I have is check your state laws on bumpers prior to ordering anything. I was looking at these but my state requires a rear bumper. Granted they also don't allow stubby front bumpers and I run one of those. Just something to consider.

Your frame cross member is not a bumper.

Just looked... Georgia and Texas don't have regulations on bumpers.

New Jersey however...
"There is no information on bumpers in the New Jersey statutes, however, there are bumper requirements for vehicles that have a modified suspension system:

Elevated Vehicle Inspection Bumper Requirements

Bumpers are required if the vehicle was originally equipped with bumpers.
Bumpers must be securely mounted to the vehicle's frame.
Bumpers must extend across the full width of the vehicle.
Bumpers must be of sufficient design and horizontally mounted to absorb and effectively transfer an impact.
No sharp edges or dangerous configurations are allowed.
Bumpers must not be lower than 16 inches above the ground"

I'm gonna get the ring mounts then get some rigid lights to mount on the frame. From what I've seen, you need to bed line the back pinch seem area and the frame rails to make it look clean and complete

Are they. I actually think the holes in the frame rails are different. I've has several conversations with them and was told that they would be releasing a new version but from what I would tell hadn't yet. I'll give them a call.

You can see my post above, it looks unfinished. Not sure if I am doing the EVO kit or having something fabbed. Not doing the RIGID lights in the rear, though I have a set of Duallys and a 10" up front. May do the wireless WARN lights so I can turn them on while camping- or make a wireless control for a Rigid diffused SL bar. Anyway- if you really load your jeep down, and dont like PAYING for 240lbs to go on the rear end, BUMPERLESS IS BOSS

You got it straight from the guys that make them right here. You don't see any rear bumpers that only fit 2007-2010. The only reason theres issues with front bumpers not fitting 2012's is the vacuum pump is in the way. All the frame mounts are the same for the rear bumpers.
