Default Evo Enforcer or Metal Cloak Duroflex

I plan on lifting the JK sometime around the end of Jan beginning of Feb. I've been researching and researching and have narrowed it down to the following...

EVO: Suspension / Steering, EVO MFG(2) 4" Lift Kit ENFORCER Package w/ 3" springs not the 4"
or
JK Wrangler 3.5" Duroflex Mid-Arm Suspension System

I can't for the life of me decide which one though I love all the positive feedback about EVO and everything they have and have heard pretty damn good things about MC aswell (no so much on this forum though). I think the biggest decision I'm contemplating is whether or not to go w/ all 8 control arms or not? I don't offroad to much at the moment (mainly since this is my DD and if I break something I'm out of a vehicle) but I def. plan to little by little when possible. Was even considering the Evo kit and then maybe later control arms??? I don't know......so many decisions!!!! I'm not dead set on the MC lift just because of the lack of talk/posts on THIS forum, and am def. open to opinions or even other lifts.

Thoughts.....concerns.....suggestions.....????

The reason you don't find anything on MC here is because they were blacklisted. I asked about them before an my thread was removed. However they have decided to allow those companies to be back in the forum discussions.

I'm leaning EVO but am interested to see if there are any responses about MC.

Yea I knew about the blacklisting as well...maybe I should've just asked opinions about MC in general, but decided that a more direct question in regards to the two was better. It'll be nice having opinions about another company rather than the normal ones you see on here everyday...

I have the MetalCloak 3.5" GC with the 6 Pak shocks, and I couldn't be happier. It's an awesome daily driver, and very capable offroad. To answer your question, absolutely go with all 8 control arms, especially the MC ones. Those DuroFlex Joints are sweet! Not only will they cater to your DD, but they love to flex out on the trails...and they do it more than others. I think the MC system is going to be your best bet!

I ended up ordering the gamechanger 3.5" after seeing the vids on youtube about binding joints. They showed videos of these flex joints not interfering with the mounts upon full flex. I've heard about bending mounts on some of the other brands not sure about evo. I almost bought RC but thought maybe MC was better.
I like that it was designed for the road first but also to be very articulate. HeHe

I'd say if the evo has no binding on full flex you could go either way so I'd check on that first. I wanted to buy new replacement joints for my MC set up but they said after almost two years of beating their test vehicle twice a week the joints are holding up fine. I was wanting to try out those shocks and i liked everything in one kit.

I run MC control arms and I am happy with the results. I sold MC coils without installing because I wanted to stay at 3 inch. You definitely see more articulation with MC

Thanks for the replies fellas

Its good to actually be getting info on the MC kits rather than nothing but Evo comments. Obviously this will be something that I wont decide until it comes time to buying, but keep the info comin!!!

What springs are you running if not MC? Was also thinking maybe using the best of both kits and running the Evo Plush springs with the MC kit

Cool

I've just installed a full set of MC control arms(still running 3" Teraflex springs & Bilstein 5100's), no off road yet but there is an improvement in the ride on the street, I'd guess 20% smoother I know the articulation will be better and the fact no regular greasing combined with better wear characteristics means less maintenance required I'll report back once I get to hit the trails
