Your sliders seem to be a tad higher than those above. From the pics on the Off Road Evolution site it looks like the bottom row of fasteners on the rock skins are above the rail, which would make it easy to install them later.

Nice looking rig though! The skins definitely complete the look. At this point I am more concerned with function. I may put the skins on of the boss lady agrees.

Thanks.

Did you weld your rails on or did you have someone else do it?
Curious how they are aligned. Any feedback on installation of the rails?

I like the look of the skins, but a concern of mine would be body corrosion from the salt on the roads getting behind them during our winters here in Illinois.

X2! Drilling into the sheet metal is out of the question in this part of the country.

you clamp them in place where you want the rock rails, then weld them up...

I do not weld so I had someone do it while I helped. There isn't much room to misalign them, especially up and down. As Chris said, you just line them up, clamp them down and weld away.

I am wanting to get these sooooooo bad! Can someone take a straight on side shot of them with a tape measured measuring the top of the rail to the bottom of the door. Right now I have stock rails and want to know how much higher these are going to be.

Thanks in advance!
