A dual exhaust wasn't even a consideration as to maintain exhaust velocity with the small power plant you need to run 1.75" pipes, a crossover, ditch the Y-pipe and buy two catalytic converters. Dual 2.5" pipes are going to slaughter any low end torque and any gains would only be found at very high rpm horsepower.

I'm sure it sounds cool though.
Ya But he only dualed it out from the muffler out not from the cat back.

I have installed the flow master 80 series muffler and 2 1/2 inch pipe from the mufflers origional mounting position back with dual 2 1/2 exits. after installing this setup my tourque and hourse power has increased along with a fuel milage increace from 17 to 20 mpg. Thanks to 2k2wranglerx.
