Anyone have any suggestions for a new exhaust system? I want a throaty sound, better mileage, and power. Can spend any where up to about $500 for it. Single exit out the back, probably 3-3.5 in. tip?

I was looking at this... Flowmaster Exhaust Part 817514 - Force II Cat Back System

Anyone have any experience with the cat-back systems/axle back systems?
Recommendations at all?

Thanks!

I've been running jeepswags.com cat back system for about 6 months. I love the exhaust. It has a great sound with absolutely no drone. When I had my CAI there was a good improvement over stock. Now that I went with a snorkel it feels stock again power wise. It's a 3" system over rear axel with the muffler under the drivers seat. You will need to relocate the evap canister to run the system. That's a super easy and pretty cheap job itself.

The exhaust was 350 last time I looked and the evap relocation is 50 more.

I highly recommend it! Just make sure you call them before you order since he sometimes runs out. I had to wait 3 months for my system to get made.

I don't know about your state laws so this may not apply. With that being said I chopped my exhaust off in front of the resonator and installed a Dynomax muffler with down pipe there. Sounds really throaty now which I like . Got the muffler through Summit for 70 bucks shipped. I attached a crappy pic. Also its the camera angle there is nothing hanging under or near the down pipe so I don't have to worry about melting anything.

I went to my local muffler shop and had them install a flowmaster 80 series made for a 4th gen camaro. Single inlet and dual outlet, has a nice throaty sound with no drone when mounted in stock location.
