Experience with Wheel Spacers
The short answer is there is nothing wrong with using quality spacers when installed properly but there are limitations to everything.
Running 37s and that much backspacing, coupled with spacers, you are just begging for trouble. I would definitely do the steering stops over the spacers. Especially with those heavy Toyos in a 13.50
"Anything worth doing, is worth overdoing" Follow that with your axles, wheels, and tire combination.
