Check out Yates's Unlimited, he has 37's and no problems, I beleive they say up to a 38inch tire.

I am considering this carrier and appreciate you sharing your experience. I do see how the Jerry can version would give more storage area, but looks like to me that this version would also be more prone to drag or hang on steep inclines.
The non Jerry can version still allows for room to attach a high lift.

Anyone that is running the non Jerry can version care to comment?

anyone have a close up pic of this installed?
just want to see because i have tailight guards and from what i understand you have to remove the driver side tailight to install and wanna know if i can put it back..
my tailight guard sticks out past the light itself. and i just wanna see if there would be any interference.....

The carrier will interfere with the guards. Here is a picture that I just took.

I have it as well, and Love it!

I also put Webco Nato Jerry Cans on it!

You can see Yate's Jeep in my link below and yes he has 37s.

I believe because the tire is raised up about 5 inches or so that the approach angle is still really good even on the gerry can version.

Is there much of a difference between the Jerry can version and the non Jerry can version?
Other than the lip for the cans?
