Fender chop and rain
I'm planning a fender chop . . . but started thinking that I ride without doors all summer and have been amazed how little water blows into the cabin even in a heavy rain. I would like to hear from anybody who has done a fender chop and rides without doors if they've noticed a significant difference.
(I posted this first in the stock forum than realized I should have put it here. sorry for the double post)

this is really gonna depend on the width of your tires and the backspacing of your rims. My doors get soaked with water so I have no doubts that the interior would get very wet. but the again I'm running 39.5x13.5x17 Irocks with 3.75" of back spacing
I agree with Medic above, what tires are you running ?
Mine stick out 2", so my fender chop made no difference. Both before and after they'd be a rooster tail from the front tires up the door, or inside when doorless. To stop the splash, I screwed on a standard splash guard set to the front inner fenders. Rear splash guards are my design, to protect and preserve the rear body & frame.
Appologies for the driveway poser shot, only photo I have with the splash guards on.

I'm, chopped with 285/75-16s , MT tires & 2/1" lift, no bumpers to speak of either. Tires are right at edge of flares, no doors off problem in h2o. I can get inner drops on windshield but its aeros & buffeting in rain without doors or rear sails/window.
