here is a perhaps a stupid question, although someone once said there is no such thing...
why such tiny rims?
the only thing I can figure is it can provide more flex\traction at low psi's... I once had a Forerunner with 33's and it had a terrible wobble at highway speeds...
any thoughts ?

Man that looks amazing! Thats what im planning on doing with my 2 dr except on black rims. the 4" lifted jeeps on 37's look SOOO BADA$$!! Man I need to stop spending my money on booze and loose women!!

How do you like the Mopar rear bumper?
The Mopar ones are starting to grow on me. They seem very functional and the price is a lot nicer than most of the other ones still being promised.

Thanks for all the comments, I'll try to answer all of you questions.
Do you have any pics of how close the rear is under compression?
No pictres, but probably a 1/2" clearance all the way around while hitting the bumpstop.
Do you have any driveline issues? A lot of the 4" lifts seem to say "may require driveline modification." I was curious if this is true.
No drive line vibrations.
You said your wheels are 15"" whats the offset and how close are they to the calipers??????
Around 3.5" offset, I have a 1/4-1/2" clearance on the calipers.
How about a pic on flat ground?

Very very nice! Thats the same basic setup Im looking at. Hows the road handling w/ the 37's? MPG? Just curious......
Road handling is fine, still drives better than my long-armed TJ did. It's a little stiffer ride, and the computer kicks in if you are slowing through a curve and starts applying the brakes. Dash guage says 14 mpg, but the speedo is off. I haven't driven it enough to know yet.

I would have never bought it, but I had a $500 credit to burn at the first dealer I ordered the Jeep from. Now that I've got it, I'm very impressed. Very sturdy, well build, and easy to install.
The front bumper is now off, I figured out a way to rotate the sway bar disconnect motor up and am scrounging for metal to make the front bumper out of.

They are much less expensive. The only downside offroad is the sidewall roll when side hilling with low pressure. My old 37" IROK's at 8 psi were pretty squirrelly at times.
I have heard somewhere a thumbrule of 10" of sidewall for offraod use. For example, 37" - 17" wheel, divided by two.
Of course if you do alot of sand, then 15" wheels would give you a bigger footprint when aired down.
