I'm having a hard time finding the right exhaust. I've been listening to sound clips but most sound like fast and furious cars at high rpms. I want that deep and throaty sound but none have surprised me yet. I have a ripp sc installed and now want to change my stock exhaust. Any suggestions

How's the drone is it bad

 

I have no complaints with my jeepswag exhaust, zero drone.

 

Depends on a few factors. The warmer it is outside, the more mine drones. With soft top on it can be bad. With top off its pretty loud.

If you can live with the drone, it is one of the best sounding exhausts out there. It's just really loud!

 

You haven't had yours installed long enough! Wait until that sucker breaks in.

 

I have tried a magnaflow thrust and now have the mbrp offroad. The magnaflow was the most quiet but didn't drone at all. Thrust was all right, no fuller was OK but droned. So far the mbrp is good sounding, and loud overall. Doesn't drone bad in my opinion.

 

Agreed!! MBRP is a nice tone.

 

100% all day. Even if you cannot afford the rock krawler system, pickup the muffler from dynomax or summit for $70 and have a local shop weld it in line with a turn line. I wouldn't change mine for the world.

 

I am really happy with my Dynomax. I had a drone between 30-40mph with the stock airbox. Once I replaced that with the Banks Ram Air Intake the drone went away. I believe the resonater built into the intake tube made the differance. I am even happier with this combo
